Before You Begin: Complete the DOEA One-Hour ADRD Training

Before starting our 3-hour ADRD course or 4-hour Specialized Memory Care course, complete the Florida Department of Elder Affairs’ free one-hour Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias training, unless you have already completed it.

Complete this training individually on the official DOEA website. After watching the video, follow DOEA’s instructions to request your certificate and keep it for your records. If you have already completed this training, retain your original certificate; you do not need to repeat it. Return to Caregiver Knowledge afterward to continue your course.

This is a separate, free external training requirement. It is not part of the paid Caregiver Knowledge ADRD course hours, and Caregiver Knowledge does not issue a certificate for it.
